Viineet Kumar Singh plays the lead in producer Manish Mundra’s directorial debut, Siya. The social drama marks their third collaboration after Tryst With Destiny (2020), which did the film festival rounds, and the upcoming Aadhaar. Mundra is best known for backing critically-acclaimed films, including Ankhon Dekhi (2014), Masaan (2015), Kadvi Hawa (2017) and Newton (2017).

Kumar describes his role in Siya as “challenging and different” from the characters he has played. “As an actor I am always on the lookout for new stuff, and Siya is one of them,” says the Mukkabaaz (2018) actor.
