Ajay Devgn and Kajol tied the knot on February 24, 1999. The couple have two kids, daughter Nysa (17) and son Yug (10). Kajol in an old interview with mid-day talked about her relationship with mother Tanuja and daughter Nysa. Talking about the lesson she learnt after becoming a mother, Kajol said, "The biggest disadvantage (of motherhood) is the fact that we find it so difficult to ask for help. That was one of the biggest lessons I learnt as a mother was that, you know you can't do everything on your own, that you have to ask people for help and there is no shame in it. And 'NO' you are not a bad mother, you are not the worst person for asking for it or not a bad woman asking someone for help when you genuinely need. It took me after I had my kids to understand the strength that takes to ask for help. Also, by asking for their help you are telling them that it's okay for them to ask for help as well. As much as you share with them of what you are as a person you realise that somewhere down the line you are doing the 'practice what you preach' thing. You just can't tell your kids that it's OK to be vulnerable, you can't just tell them that it is OK to cry. Sometimes you will have to break down in front of them and that they should also be okay with it. That's one of the lessons that they have to learn."

On the work front, Kajol was recently seen in the film Tribhanga: Tedhi Medhi Crazy, directed by actress Renuka Shahane. It is a family drama about three distinct women, and their unconventional life choices. Written and directed by Renuka Shahane, the film also features Tanvi Azmi, Mithila Palkar, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Kanwaljeet Singh, Manav Gohil and Vaibhav Tatwawaadi. It was released on Netflix on January 15. Ajay's upcoming film is MayDay, which he also directs and produces. The film co-stars Amitabh Bachchan and Rakulpreet Singh.
