Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone opened the new season of Karan Johar`s much loved talk show Koffee With Karan. The couple who got married in 2018 spoke in length about their relationship and their love story. Talking about the initial days of relationship, Ranveer Singh passionately described his first meeting with Deepika Padukone on the show.
Ranveer Singh revealed that he met Deepika Padukone for the first time at Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s Versova home, close to the sea. She was there for the reading of their first film together - `Goliyon ki Raasleela - Ram Leela`. Ranveer recalled Deepika looked `angelic` when she entered through the heavy doors of Bhansali`s house with the sea wind flowing through her hair. "I was sitting at the table and the door was there. He has these heavy doors and he lives by the seaside. So these heavy doors open and the gush of wind comes from the sea. And there she is in a white chikankari, like this embodiment of simplicity,” Ranveer said.
