Wacky Wednesday: Koffee With Karan 8 is all set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar from October 26. Karan Johar returns to the hosting duties. Amid excitement for the show, fans are revisiting the past seasons and the episodes that cracked them up. One of them was Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh mimicking Alia Bhatt and Sonam Kapoor.

In an old clip that surfaced on Instagram, Ranbir and Ranveer were the guests on Koffee With Karan. During a segment, Karan asked them to imagine themselves as Alia and Sonam and talk about who should win the Best Actor award. Sonam was nominated for Neerja whereas Alia was in the race for Udta Punjab and Kapoor & Sons. Ranbir imitated Alia and mocked that she did a film with the title Kapoor. Ranveer perfectly picked Sonam's accent and mannerisms.
Ranbir and Alia weren't dating when the episode aired. The actors fell in love while working on Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. They are now married and have a daughter named Raha Kapoor. Ranveer is married to Deepika Padukone.
Recently, Ranbir mimicked Alia yet again. During the promotions of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, the actor imitated a few actors in a video. However, the funniest moment was when he imitated Alia. Ranbir recreated her emotional scene from Raazi where she says, "I want to go home." Moaning like her, he made viewers crack up.

According to initial reports, Ranbir might return to Koffee With Karan this season after a gap. Reportedly, he and Alia will be sharing the couch for the first time. If reports are to go by, Ranveer and Deepika might also make an appearance together this time. In the 7th season, Alia and Ranveer were the opening pair of the show.
Back in 2018, Ranbir made up his mind to never appear on Koffee With Karan. On AIB's podcast, the actor said, “I was forced this season. Me and Anushka were actually going to protest and get the film industry together, to stop this, it’s not fair…” He continued, “He keeps making money out of us, we come, and we get sc****d through the year, and it’s not right.”
