After over six months, Kajol has returned to Mumbai. She preferred to be with daughter Nysa, who is studying in Singapore, due to the prevailing situation. Ever since her college opened in September, Kads and Ajay Devgn did not want Nysa to miss out on her studies. At the same time, the doting parents did not want her to be alone in the midst of the pandemic, which is why Kajol decided to temporarily set up a base there. Looks like the cameras will soon beckon Kads, who was last seen in the Netflix film, Tribhanga.

The OTT film, Tribhanga, is directed by Renuka Shahane. It narrates the story of three generations of women. Kajol plays an actress-dancer who shares a strained relationship with her mother (Tanvi Azmi), a noted author. The film also stars Mithila Palkar as Kajol's on-screen daughter.
