Ahead of her birthday, Vidya took to her Instagram handle to share a video of her channeling her inner Hansa while talking about her birthday

Vidya Balan is undoubtedly one of the most talented actors in the country. Time and again, the actor has delivered impressive performances in her films. Apart from entertaining the audience with her films, the actress also entertains her followers on social media with hilarious reels. Of late, Vidya has taken an interest towards Instagram reels and often enacts hilarious audios. 


Vidya will be turning a year older on January 1. Ahead of her birthday, she took to her Instagram handle to share a video of her channeling her inner Hansa while talking about her birthday. In the video, enacting Khichdi's popular character Hansa, Vidya is seen telling that it is her birthday on Sunday. She is then asked what day Sunday falls to which she says, 'Ravivar' in Hindi. The other person is relieved saying that since Sunday is coming on 'Ravivar' kids can come to the party.

For those unaware, Hansa Parekh is a popular character from the sitcom Khichdi. The role was immortalized by actress Supriya Pathak who is to date lovingly remembered for her role as Hansa. 

Sharing the reel, she wrote, "Sunday ko mera janamdin hai. Also #happy2023".

Meanwhile, on the work front, Vidya Balan last gave a power-packed performance in the film 'Jalsa'. The film directed by Suresh Triveni also starred Shefali Shah. In the film, the actress played a working journalist, while Shefali essayed the role of her house help. Vidya has multiple projects in the pipeline including one opposite Scam star Pratik Gandhi. The forthcoming project will also feature Ileana D'cruz and Sendhil Ramamurthy in pivotal roles.
