Like last year's collection, the first few denims that veteran designer Tarun Tahiliani showcased for Levi's were "destructive" and cloaked in gold and silver chains. The disappointing start led to a range of paisley print acid-washed denims in turmeric, deep indigo and Jodhpur blue not what we had in mind when you think "denim" or "unbuttoned", but a start to something different, at least. The monotone combination of turmeric over turmeric, and blue over blue killed the uber cool denim-clad look even more. The highlights were the non-fussy acid-washed deep indigo Jodhpur denims and shorts with subtle denim and velvet appliquu00c3u00a9. Skinnys in charcoal were embellished with floral bursts and Swarovski crystals, and we wished the range would have been an extended version of these stunners. We suggest you look out for the acid-washed charcoal and flock denim truckers this season.
