Zareen Khan: I got labelled as arrogant

Actress Zareen Khan speaks to mid-day.com, about starting out as a call centre employee, while wanting to be an air-hostess and pilot and finally landing the lead role opposite Salman Khan in `Veer.` The actress says being an outsider, she did not know how the industry functions and got labeled as arrogant.
Zareen says, “In the beginning it was really difficult because I couldn’t understand anything. I was a complete lost child since I come from a non-film background. I used to attend events where there used to be famous personalities from the industry and I did not know them. Then I got labelled as arrogant because I did not greet them. I was so intimidated at that time not knowing whether I’m supposed to talk or not! A lot of things happened at that time but slowly I learnt. This journey has been a learning experience with a lot of ups and downs, it’s been a fun rollercoaster ride.”
