Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday were spotted together at Filmalaya Studios in Andheri, Mumbai for the final schedule of their upcoming film, Khaali Peeli. (All pictures: Yogen Shah).

Ananya sizzled as usual in her black crop top and yellow trousers. A pair of pink flip flops and her trademark cute smile enhanced her look. Abiding by the government rules, the actress wore a multi-coloured designer mask to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The edgy masala entertainer, directed by Maqbool Khan, brings Ishaan and Ananya together for the first time. This comedy was planned for a June 12 release. However, the coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent lockdown threw the schedule out of gear.

Ananya was shooting for Khaali Peeli in the city on March 15 when the cine bodies announced the temporary suspension of shoots. As a result, the film had only a day of shoot pending before the team can call it a wrap. "We had only one day of shoot left, but we couldn't finish the film because everyone's safety is more important. I hope things get back to normal soon", Panday had said in March.

Ishaan looked dashing in his dark blue hoodie and black trousers. To complete his look, he wore white sports shoes and sunglasses. Also don't miss out on his blue gloves and black mask.

Ishaan essays a Mumbai cab driver in the romantic action film, which is being billed as a roller coaster ride that kicks off when a boy meets a girl (Ananya) one night. This film will be Ishaan Khatter's second Bollywood film after Dhadak. He made his acting debut with Majid Majidi's Beyond the Clouds. As for Ananya, she made her Bollywood debut with Student Of The Year 2 and was then seen romancing Kartik Aaryan in Pati Patni Aur Woh.

The Maqbool Khan directorial is bankrolled by Ali Abbas Zafar and Zee Studios. Due to the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent closure of cinema halls, Khaali Peeli is scheduled to released directly on OTT platforms on October 2.
