The Piku actress is has been wearing outfits in a unique style for her promotions. From a chic patterned outfit to an orange bodycon dress, and from donning a multicoloured saree to a corset shirt top, Deepika has been slaying the show.

This time, she opted for a black leather outfit and stilettos. She paired her outfit with a set of golden hoops and sported her million-dollar smile as she posed for the cameras./p>

Speaking of Chhapaak, it is based on the real-life story of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal who at the age of 15, was attacked allegedly by a spurned lover in 2005. The protagonist's role is being enacted by Deepika.

In a media interaction, director Meghna Gulzar said, "Deepika is going to be a revelation in Chhapaak. It is a completely different side of Deepika which people will see. When I say that I don't mean just the look or prosthetics, it's also about going into the second level of the character, the body language, the gestures, and the general energy."

Vikrant plays the role of Amol, Malti's love partner in the film. The film, which also marks Deepika's production debut in Bollywood.

Chhapaak is all set to release on January 10, 2020, and will clash with Ajay Devgn, Kajol, and Saif Ali Khan starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior and Rajnikanth's Darbar at the box office.
