For the uninitiated, Sajid Khan was directing the film but Samji was replaced over four months later. Sajid Nadiadwala never allowed these unforeseen complications to overpower the making and continued making the film, leaving no stones unturned to make it as grand as it can get.

Speaking about the same, Housefull 4 is India's first reincarnation comedy, there are two time periods and all the actors have a double role.

But this isn't the end of the road for Kumar, Samji, Nadiadwala and Sanon. They all are reuniting for another entertainer titled Bachchan Pandey, which is all set to release on Christmas 2020.

Talking about the ensemble cast, Akshay Kumar plays a warrior from the year 1419 named Bala and a modern-day hottie from 2019, Harry.

Riteish Deshmukh, another actor known for impeccable comic timing, essays the roles of an effeminate Kathak dancer, Bangdu Maharaj and Roy.

Bobby Deol's look, on the other hand, will remind you of two things with his ancient look - his own hit, Soldier, and his dad, the iconic actor, Dharmendra. He plays Dharamputra and Max, and it has been a while since we saw the actor dabble with the genre of comedy.

Kriti Sanon plays the role of Rajkumari Madhu. And her second character is London based Kriti. A double whammy for all her fans to see her in a traditional and modern avatar!

Another actor who went back in time in Ashutosh Gowariker's period drama Mohenjo-Daro, Pooja Hegde plays Rajkumari Mala and also Pooja in this film.

Kriti Kharbanda essays Rajkumari Meena and Neha, and all we can say is that she doesn't disappoint, at least with her first look. How she fares in terms of acting will be known once we see the film.

Chunky Panday, the man who is always "a joookkinnng!" is also part of Housefull 4. The actor, who has been a part of the Housefull franchise since its first outing in 2010, is known for his quirky character Aakhri Pasta, and the fourth instalment sees Panday also play Pehla Pasta in the reincarnation comedy.
