Good Newwz is slated to hit theatres on Christmas this year. The film's story is said to revolve around two married couples and their journey of love.

In Good Newwz, Akshay Kumar will be portraying the role of Kareena Kapoor Khan's husband who's a suave car dealer in South Delhi. The couple opts for IVF to become parents seven years after their marriage.

In an earlier interview, Kareena Kapoor Khan had said that the audience can expect a fun ride from the film. The film highlights the issue of surrogacy but with a tinge of humour.

It was reported that Akshay Kumar's character is stylish and rich, in a space the has not explored in the recent past. There is plenty of humour and drama in Kareena and his track.

Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh essay another couple also hoping to embrace parenthood. Diljit and Kiara come from a more traditional Punjab backdrop, with the former a die-hard fan of a popular Punjabi rapper.

This is Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan's eighth film together, and they both reunite after a decade. All in all, 2020 is all set to be the year of reunions for the actor, who's currently one of the most bankable stars in the country.
