Rishi Kapoor returned to India a fortnight ago from New York. The actor was in the US for the treatment of the big c disease and came back to his homeland after 11 months and 11 days. Throughout his treatment, his wife Neetu Kapoor stood by his side like a rock.
Before returning to the bay, Rishi Kapoor said in an interview with a leading daily: "I have to be here for 11 months, so I will not be back before the end of August. It's been a difficult time, very taxing, but Neetu (wife), and my children (Ranbir and Riddhima) have been very supportive. When your anxiety is so high you need this kind of support and such motivational people around."
Prem Chopra also attended the birthday bash. The veteran actor opted for dark black pants and a long-sleeve t-shirt.
The other veteran actor to grace the party was Tinnu Anand and his wife Shahnaz Vahanvaty. On the work front, Anand will be seen in web series Mentalhood, which also stars Karisma Kapoor. Directed by Karishma Kohli, Mentalhood will showcase the topsy-turvy ride of the various kinds of mothers that exist and how they manoeuvre their way through unreasonable expectations to raise their children.
Ayan Mukerji who is currently busy with the post-production of his upcoming film Brahmastra also attended the party. Brahmastra stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Amitabh Bachchan. The fantasy drama film, which was initially scheduled to release around Christmas this year, will now hit the big screens in summer 2020.
Producer Dinesh Vijan and wife Pramita Tanwar pose for the photographers at the bash. On the work front, Dinesh is busy in promotions of his upcoming production Made In China. The film stars Rajkummar Rao, Mouni Roy, Boman Irani, Gajraj Rao and Paresh Rawal in lead roles.
