In the film, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Diljit Dosanjh, Kiara Advani are shown as couples trying to conceive a baby through IVF. However, they fall prey to a major goof-up when Akshay and Diljit's sperms are interchanged. While Akshay-Kareena are shown as a more sophisticated and poised couple, Diljit and Kiara are the typical Punjabi ones - outspoken, friendly and fun!

Kareena Kapoor Khan looked pretty in her denim pantsuit which she complemented with a black mesh top as she arrived for the Good Newwz promotional event.

Kiara Advani also sported a pantsuit as she attended the promotional event of her upcoming film Good Newwz.

When Kareena Kapoor Khan was quizzed if her maternal instinct made her sign the film revolving around in vitro fertilisation, and Bebo in a chat with mid-day said, "It was a hoot of a narration. Since I am doing fewer films, I want people to be excited about my projects. I was the first one to sign the film."

Kareena Kapoor Khan in a recent interview with mid-day talked about how her stardom has overpowered her as an actor. She said, "I started the trend of headlining films long ago. People are talking about it now because there is more focus on women's voice in Bollywood. Many actresses would have turned down Veere Di Wedding [2018] because no one wants to talk about periods, or lack of orgasm [being grounds for] divorce. The film was path-breaking because we established that there's an alternative to bro-code."

Recently, the makers of Good Newwz released a new song from the film titled, Laal Ghaghra. The film will seen Kareena and Akshay coming together after Gabbar Is Back (2015). Good Newwz is all set to release on December 27.
