The show begins on the heels of an election, where two-time PM Devki Nandan is expected to return to the position at the behest of his party, the JLD. Gurpal Singh is the right-hand man of an important and powerful Delhi politician. Sunil Grover is an enforcer of sorts for Samar, and his father tells us that there's more to him than meets the eye. His character, who is right next to the kingmaker, holds authority in the fictional world of politics. His diction and language prove that the actor is indeed a Dilliwaala at heart.

Sunil Grover plays police constable Sadhuram in the popular film Gabbar Is Back. The film revolves around a grief-stricken man who takes the law into his own hands to bring justice to people who have lost their lives due to the mistakes of public servants. He does this because he has lost a loved one due to the mistake of a corrupt public servant. While Sadhuram goes against the orders of his boss to find Gabbar in the film, we cannot stop gazing at our screens. The actor once again surprises us by mastering a negative role.
