"We met in 2012, started dating, and the shooting of Ram Leela commenced. So half into 2012 and 2013. It was during the filming of Ram Leela that this was all happening. We were making an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. So there was this fire and Mr Bhansali was only too happy to fan this fire. It would be so apparent," Ranveer said
He said they started dating in 2012. In 2015, he proposed to her and they were secretly engaged for 3 years before marrying
Deepika spoke about the constant work required in a marriage and how she and Ranveer navigate difficult patches through open communication
Deepika also shared the positive aspects pf being with an actor, highlighting how Ranveer keeps her inner child alive. The couple often spends Saturday nights dancing together till the early hours
