The film, which stars Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr and Mark Ruffalo in an ensemble superhero plot, released in India on April 24, and will hit US theatres on Friday.
The extended version, complete with a different ending, was announced by the email online retailer Amazon on Friday, reports telegraph.co.uk.
The email read: "'Avengers: Age of Ultron' is available to pre-order on DVD and Blu-Ray, including an extended version and alternate ending."
Earlier, there were reports that 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' would end with the Hulk being sent into outer space.
Cast members Aaron Taylor-Johnson (who plays Quicksilver) and Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Widow) have spoken about some of their deleted scenes, involving capes on fire and aliens, which may be getting a new lease of life with the release.
The DVD release date is yet to be announced, but will likely be before the end of the year.
