Top Gun director Tony Scott committed suicide Sunday by jumping off a Los Angeles bridge, reports said.

His body was later pulled out by Los Angeles Police Department and US Coast Guard officials.
The Los Angeles County coroner's office confirmed the director's identity later in the evening.
A suicide note was recovered from his office, reports said.
Scott was an action movie director who had made films like Enemy of the State, Beverly Hills Cop II, Days of Thunder and Crimson Tide.u00a0His last film was Unstoppable.
