The 'Magic Mike XXL' actress, who described the difficulty of coming out as bisexual in Hollywood, said hiding the truth about sexuality is "wrong," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"I don't want to have to deny my sexuality in order to be me. But I don't want to have to be defined by it."
"I'm fundamentally opposed to trying to edit myself to be palatable or popular. I fight, but I shouldn't have to," she said.
Amber Heard, 29, who married 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star Johnny Depp earlier this year, said her sexuality or anything about her as a person should have no bearing on her talent as an actress.
"I'm not a better actress than I was yesterday, and my personal life should have no effect on that," she said.
