Anne Hathaway is glowing. On Sunday, the Oscar-winning actress treated her fans to the shot of her growing baby bump on Instagram. It also marked the first time the star has publicly acknowledged her pregnancy via social media.

For her photo, the bikini-clad actress placed both hands on her stomach and smiled for the camera. "Happy 2016 to my beautiful Instafriends!" the Intern star wrote in the caption.

"So, posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me, but just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed. I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy (and be one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter)."

If reports are to be believed, Anne is going to take a break from films once the baby arrives. Says a source, "She feels she's achieved so much already, it's time to take a break from acting, concentrate on being a full-time mum."
