Idris Elba, 45, who plays the role of the Asgardian gatekeeper Heimdall in Marvel's outings, says he wishes he has a prominent role in the production's future projects. Elba, who recently returned to play his character in 'Thor Ragnarok', the third installment of the Chris Hemsworth-starrer Thor franchise, says that unlike actors his age, who don't enjoy superhero films, he enjoys being part of the genre.

"I like that I have a little part in Thor. I'm neither the movie star, nor the day player. It allows me to do other things I love... [But] I wish I was more present in the Marvel family and that I had a bigger character... I think I need a bit more. I want to be a superhero," he said.
