Emma Stone, Naomi Watts to share screen space

Actors Emma Stone and Naomi Watts will be seen together on the big screen in a new dark comedy by Alejandro Gonzalez.

The two leading ladies will star opposite Michael Keaton and Zach Galifianakis respectively. The film is about a man who attempts to stage a Broadway play to revamp his theatre career, reports dailystar.co.uk.

Stone will play Keaton's daughter in Birdman, while Watts has signed up to portray a demanding diva, fresh out of rehab, who takes the lead in the fictitious play.

The film is set to go on floors in April, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
