Brad Pitt has revealed that fatherhood has made him more "passionate" about life, and he wants to make films that will have a lasting impact on his kids.
The 47-year-old actor says movies played a big part in his life when he was younger, and he hopes his movies have the same impact on his children.
"I am more passionate now that I am a father. It has focused my mind on the kind of work I want to do. I think of how movies affected me when I was younger, and how they've stayed with me ever since," Contactmusic quoted him as telling Culture magazine.
"Now I want to make films the kids can see and that might stay with them. I want to make films they can be proud of," he added.
Pitt further revealed that, since his "shelf life" as an actor is coming to an end he would like to play a "grumpy old dude" in a movie one day.
"I'm bothered less about whether the films I shoot make money. I just want them to have longevity.
"We all have a shelf life, and mine is coming - although there are a couple of things I'd still like to do. I am looking forward to playing a foul-mouthed grumpy old dude one day, that's for sure," he added.
