Lady Gaga has decided to call on US President Barack Obama to voice her concerns over bullying after a gay teenager committed suicide unable to cope with the taunts of his seniors over his sexuality.
Gaga expressed sadness over Twitter about the death of Jamey Rodemeyer, 14, who had complained in an online video about the harassment.
"I am meeting with our President. I will not stop fighting. This must end," the New York Post quoted Gaga as tweeting.
A Democratic official confirmed that Gaga has plans to attend an Obama fundraiser next week on the West Coast.
However, the official denied any schedule for a private meeting.
