There are stories, and then there are stories. In 1968, The Beatles landed India for the very first time with plans of solely relaxing and meditating. Little did they know that 600 fans would be eagerly awaiting their arrival at the airport. Some 40 years later, Aerosmith, the American rock band with Steve Tyler as frontman, housed a staggering 22,000 people for their India concert.

Be it at an airport or a gig venue, more bands and musicians are coming here with the confidence that their Indian fans will turn up by the thousands. Earlier this year, pop/rock sensation Ed Sheeran serenaded swooning audiences while Switchfoot, with their eclectic brand of music, took to the stage in their first-ever performance in India. Even party sensations from the 90s, Vengaboys, performed in India in May to much fanfare. With recent visits from Coldplay and Elijah Wood, we give you a line-up of international artists who are all set to burn the stage with their performances before the year ends.
