Jessica Alba has revealed that she rushed to a hospital in the middle of the night last week fearing that she was having a stroke.
The 31-year-old actress said on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ that she was at home with her husband Cash Warren when she lost feeling in her hand and began suffering a headache and heart palpitations, the Sun reported.

She said that it was 2.30 in the morning and she woke up and her hand started to go numb and then the entire thing went numb. She said that her whole arm went numb, and she started getting cold sensations in the back of her neck to the front and she couldn’t move her face.
Alba then looked up her symptoms on the internet, and discovered that her symptoms were consistent with a stroke. u00a0She said that she texted her daughter’s paediatrician as he was the only person who would have answer her at 2.30 in the morning.
“I texted him and I said, ‘I have these symptoms... it’s all going downhill!’ He was like, ‘You’re a little young for this’” she added. u00a0Alba eventually had a MRI scan done which revealed that she was suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome - a relatively common condition that causes pain, numbness and a tingling sensation in the hand and fingers.u00a0
