"There were some issues with the visa. Since she has been travelling she could not complete a few visa application formalities in the US. And that is why she had to cancel her trip," said a source from the company which was organising Kardashian's visit to India.
"It is unfortunate but Kim wants to come back soon for her fans in India," the source added.
Kardashian, who is married to rapper Kanye West and has a one-year-old daughter, North West, had announced the news of her India visit via her twitter page on Sunday.
"Just touched down in Australia! My perfume world tour begins for my new fragrance Fleur Fatale! Next stop India then Dubai! All in one week," Kardashian had posted.
The reality TV star is yet to comment on the matter.
