The harder Kylie Minogue tries to fend off the painful breast cancer memories, the more forcefully they continue to haunt the pop star
Although Minogue successfully fought the disease after being diagnosed in 2005, the 44-year-old singer still gets angry about her ordeal, reported a magazine. While the All The Lovers singer says she feels grateful that she survived, she also admits it is something she will never get over.

"Over time, people tend to forget. Not me. Not a day goes by that I don't think about it. I just have to look in a mirror, the scars are mental as well as physical," Minogue said. Minogue, 44, also says she was "overwhelmed" with the support she received from everyone after she announced her illness.
"People would often come up to me and give me flowers, or wish me good luck. It was really overwhelming. Throughout this time I saw the best - and the worst - in people. Perhaps it was the first time that people understood that I was also just a woman who was suffering, and not just a smiling doll," the singer added. u00a0
