The 'Meangirls' star will face trial for reportedly lying about her car reckless driving
Lindsay Lohan has been charged for reckless driving after her Porsche luxury sports car smashed into a truck in 2012, in Santa Monica, California. The judge, however refused to take back her charges even after her lawyer, Mark Heller maintained that she had been unlawfully questioned by police following car crash.

Heller was seeking a delay to prepare his defense, and to allow her more time to undergo psychotherapy counselling and perform community service.
He believes that Lohan wasn’t read her Miranda rights by the Santa Monica police was also denied. James Dabney, the judge said that was a matter for
the trial.
Lohan was on probation at the time of the crash and could face up to 245 days in jail if a judge determines she violated the terms of her sentence in a 2011 necklace theft case.The ‘Mean Girls’ star has pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor charges that also include obstructing officers from performing their duties while investigating the June crash.u00a0
