There may be a Hollywood ending for Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones after all.

Douglas' 91-year-old mom, Diana Dill, revealed that the Tinseltown titans are back together. "I knew they would work it out," she says before adding, "They're both gentle people and they've always been very affectionate."

Douglas, 69, and Zeta-Jones, 44, announced they were separating in August after going through a particularly tumultuous time in their lives.
Douglas had battled throat cancer while Zeta-Jones sought treatment for a bipolar disorder.
"She's dealing with it, she's a very realistic person," the mom said, describing Zeta-Jones as an "open and funny" person.
Dill further informed that her the Oscar-winning son is an "understanding person" who isn't the type to dwell on problems. "He copes very well, he really does," she said.
Douglas and Zeta-Jones have two kids, Dylan, 13, and Carys, 10.
