Singer-actress Miley Cyrus has urged her fans to help boost donations to a charity fund established for a young Australian sportsman who was seriously injured last month.
Beau Vernon was playing for his local Leongatha Football Club when he collided with another athlete, fracturing his neck and dislocating his vertebrae, reported Daily Express.

He was airlifted to hospital in Melbourne, where he underwent surgery to repair two broken vertebrae, but the 23-year-old has been left paralysed and a fund has been set up on his name to raise money to cover the costs.
"Help Beau Vernon, a young Aussie Football star who suffered a spinal injury during football thats (sic) left him without movement in his arms and legs... The Beau Vernon fund has been set up to help support Beau and the challenges that lay ahead for him and his family," Cyrus, 19, posted on twitter.
