It's a global offensive initiated by alien invaders, says a blurb on Wikipedia and if the trailers are anything to go by, the titular "Battle" appears to be a relentless yet spectacular one.
Directed by Jonathan Liebesman, the film stars Michelle Rodriguez (Fast And Furious) as USAF Tech Sergeant Elena Santos and Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight) as Staff Sergeant Michael Nantz among others.

Aaron has described the film as something of a "Black Hawk Done meets Alien"
Michelle Rodriguez underwent extensive Marine training to prepare for the part. She wouldn't be opposed to having a real life encounter.
