Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas to wed in September?

Nick Jonas turns 26 on September 16, so it could be a double celebration

Over the weekend, Priyanka Chopra was spotted at Mumbai airport enroute to New York. Considering the buzz that beau Nick Jonas had popped the question on her birthday (July 18), there was no tell-tale sign. The diamond ring, which Nick reportedly closed down a Tiffany's store in the Big Apple to buy, was missing from her finger. Buzz is PeeCee and Nick are likely to get hitched in September.

Nick turns 26 on September 16, so it could be a double celebration. Earlier, in the wee hours of Thursday, Priyanka was spotted at buddy Arpita Khan's home in Rizvi Complex, Bandra.

Was the purpose of the visit to convey that she was dropping out of the Salman Khan-starrer Bharat? Arpita had played a key role in mending fences between brother Salman and Priyanka after their fall out post Main Aur Mrs Khanna (2009). On Friday, director Ali Abbas Zafar tweeted about Priyanka's exit from the film. Yesterday, he wrote, "We will announce the leading lady soon... we have been shooting non-stop (sic)."
