R&B star Rihanna says she was concerned about Chris Brown as the world appeared to turn on him following their fight
Chris Brown was charged with and later pleaded guilty to the February, 2009 attack on his then-girlfriend Rihanna, and he was handed a hard labour sentence and ordered to stay away from his her.

But instead of being angry at him the 'We Found Love' hitmaker says she felt bad for him as he needed help and not criticism, reported Daily Star.
"I felt like, 'The only person they hate right now is him.' It was a weird, confusing space to be in, because, as angry as I was - as angry and hurt and betrayed, I just felt like he made that mistake because he needed help.
"And who's going to help him? Nobody's going to say he needs help, everybody's going to say he's a monster, without looking at the source. And I was more concerned about him," Rihanna said in an interview with TV mogul Oprah Winfrey.
Rihanna and Brown have recently reconciled as friends and also recorded a song together.u00a0
