Twilight star Robert Pattinson has said that he would like a small, low-key wedding in England when he eventually decides to tie the knot.

The 25-year-old actor, who is rumoured to be in a relationship with his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, says he wouldn't want to marry in front of hundreds of celebrities, and ideally would just be joined at the ceremony by a small group of close family and friends.

"I imagine it to be pretty simple. It's not exactly my style to fly in 500 different celebrities from around the world. My best friends now are the same best friends I had before everything got a little crazy.

I would want it to just be family and close friends, not someone I've said hello to once at an awards ceremony," Pattinson said.

The British star also said that he would return to his native UK to get married, despite the unpredictable weather. "The weather in LA is great, but if I were to get married, I think I would like to do so back home," he added.

The Water for Elephants star also wants to settle down and have a home with a number of children.

"I'm not interested in casual relationships, I need to know people, I'm not making an existential statement here, simply, I want a family with two or three kids," he said.
