Sid Makkar to star in second season of 'Sense 8'

The 'Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' actor will next been in the second season of Netflix's show 'Sense 8'

Sid Makkar after working in 'The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' movies (1 and 2), has now added another Hollywood feather to his cap by landing a role in Netflix show, 'Sense 8'. The show is by the Wachowskis (the makers of the 'Matrix' trilogy). The show also stars Anupam Kher, Purab Kohli and Tina Desai, to name a few.

Talking about the signing the show, Sid says, “They (the makers) contacted me for season 2 and I ended up playing a great part that is very charming. I am very happy and excited to work with such an amazing cast and directors. In fact, if the show continues for Season 3, I shall be a part of it too.”

The actor has been seen in the television show, 'Lajwanti' and also in numerous Bollywood films including 'Turning 30', 'Dus Tola', 'Straight' and 'Luck by Chance' apart from being a part of 'The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' (1 and 2).
