Paul was a passenger in a Porsche driven by his friend Roger Rodas, who also died, when it hit a pole and burst into flames in November 2013. He was 40 years old.
Diesel, 48, has publicly grieved the loss of his close friend and "Fast & Furious" franchise co-star on numerous occasions, and paid another tribute to Paul on social media.
The actor shared a photo of himself smiling while holding his daughter Pauline - named after Paul - up in the air.
However, the snap has been altered to include the late actor smiling down on the pair, and Diesel captioned the shot "Always".
The 48-year-old actor has shared several photos of Paul on social media recently as filming for eighth movie in the franchise, "Fast 8", began.
He posted a snap of the pair laughing and smiling together on Instagram back in May (16), and wrote a touching tribute to the late actor.
"Many of the crew members who have worked on several of the past Fast films are here again to help us make something special. One of them at the end of the week came up to me and said wow what we are capturing on film is excellent... And then looked at me and said Paul would be proud.
#wemakethemwithourhearts," the action star captioned the snap.
