Tom Cruise, who shot to fame with 1986 film "Top Gun", says he would love to be a part of the sequel.
The 49-year-old said he is working with director Tony Scott and producer Jerry Bruckheimer on plans for "Top Gun 2", reported Access Hollywood. "We're working on it.

We'll see what happens, if I can figure out the script and we get it. It would be fun getting into those jets. I want to get in those jets!" he said. With nearly 40 films under his belt, Cruise said he couldn't possibly pick a film that best represented "the real Tom".
"That is too difficult. That's like asking which one, you know, is your favourite child! I mean, each one, I put so much into them," he said. The actor will next be seen playing a rockstar in "Rock of Ages".u00a0
