The awards season has officially started! Actors Harvey Guillén and Brenda Song revealed the Emmy nominees across various categories, including drama, comedy, and limited series, today. While several shows have secured top spots, Netflix thriller Adolescence has truly hit it out of the park with 13 nominations. Moreover, it has also created history with Owen Cooper being the youngest nominee in a category.

The 15-year-old actor got a nod in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Anthology Series or Movie category. If he wins, Cooper would be the youngest male winner of any acting Emmy ever. He surpasses current record-holder Scott Jacoby, who was 16 years old when he was nominated for the 1972 TV movie That Certain Summer.
