Adarsh Gourav with the show’s cast

Four days ago, Adarsh Gourav headed to Thailand to resume the shoot of Ridley Scott’s production Alien. Before beginning the four-month schedule of director Noah Hawley’s sci-fi series in Bangkok on Wednesday, the cast—including Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Samuel Blenkin, Essie Davis and Gourav—soaked in the city’s culture and enjoyed the local cuisines. Talking about his first day of shoot, Gourav said, “The opportunity to work with renowned creators like Noah Hawley and Ridley Scott is humbling. I’m excited to shoot for the project after last year’s brief schedule. We can’t wait to put all our energy into making the series as iconic as the franchise is.”

After a two-week shoot last year, the team had to halt work due to the SAG-AFTRA strike.
