Actress Amanda Seyfried is in talks to play porn legend Linda Lovelace in the movie "Lovelace".

The 25-year-old will play the lead role in the movie along with Peter Sarsgaard who will play her pornographer husband Chuck Traynor, reports Variety magazine.

The adaptation has been written by W. Merritt Johnson from Eric Danville's book "The Complete Linda Lovelace", and is being helmed by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman.

Production of the movie is set to begin in January 2012.
