Tragically, on Saturday, he passed away at the age of 31, a heart-wrenching confirmation shared by his record label. Among August 08`s notable accomplishments was his co-writing contribution to DJ Khaled`s chart-topper ‘I`m the One,’ featuring Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper, and Lil Wayne. His collaborative endeavors extended to Jhené Aiko, Kehlani, Joji, and ScHoolboy Q, showcasing his versatility across genres. Under the wings of Def Jam Recordings and a former member of the 88 Rising Collective, a platform championing Asian and Asian-American artists, his impact on the music scene was undeniable.
