Washington D.C.: Baltasar Kormakur's directorial 'Everest' seems to be doing well at the box office as it has collected 28.8 million dollars in its opening weekend.

Interestingly, the Jake Gyllenhaal starrer got a strong opening in India and has earned 1.4 million dollars in only 450 runs, reports Deadline.com.

Meanwhile, 'Maze Runner: Scorch Trials' grabbed 43.2 million dollars over the weekend and has earned a total of 78 million dollars at the box office.
