Los Angeles: Hollywood stars Bradley Cooper and Helen Mirren bagged nomination in the best actor in a leading role (play category) at the 69th annual Tony Awards for their performance in 'The Elephant Man' and 'The Audience' respectively.

Cooper, 40, will face competition from Steven Boyer ('Hand to God'), Ben Miles ('Wolf Hall Parts One & Two'), Bill Nighy ('Skylight') and Alex Sharp ('The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time') in the category.
