David Lynch’s rare personal collection goes up for auction in June

Fans can bid on unique artefacts from David Lynch’s career and personal life, including musical instruments and furniture, at a live auction this June

Fans of the late filmmaker David Lynch have a rare chance to lay their hands on some of his prized possessions. More than 450 items from the late auteur’s collection are being offered in a live auction for The David Lynch Collection, as per reports.

The auction is set for June 18 from Julien’s Auctions and Turner Classic Movies (TCM), and will be streamed on Julien’s Auctions website at their Gardena auction house. Personal artefacts from Lynch’s home include props, musical instruments, fine art, furniture, home decor, tools from his home woodshop, paint supplies from his home art studio, and more.

As per reports, memorabilia from the Twin Peaks series (1990), Eraserhead (1977), The Elephant Man (1980), Blue Velvet (1986), and Mulholland Drive (2001) will be featured. Items not pictured include a group of four prop menus for Winkie’s Sunset Boulevard from Mulholland Drive, a steel guitar played in his home studio, and a vintage chenille sofa like the one in Lost Highway (1997).
