The latest celebrity whose life has caught the fancy of a filmmaker is musician Celine Dion. The five-time Grammy-winning artiste’s story will be given a cinematic adaptation for Sony Music Entertainment. Dion, who has sold over 250 million records, enjoys a 40-year career.

The film is being directed by Irene Taylor, whose first feature documentary, Hear and Now, won a Peabody and the Audience Award at Sundance in 2007, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. Her short, The Final Inch (2009), was nominated for an Oscar.
