Ed Sheeran and Arijit Singh have released a special version of the former`s new song Sapphire. The Grammy winner took to social media to announce the release of the song while showering love on Singh. Ed posted a long note describing  his visit to India for the final jigsaw piece of Sapphire and described it as music pilgrimage.

Ed Sheeran took to his Instagram feed and shared a video that captures Arijit recording the song in a studio and him being heavily impressed with his vocals.

Sheeran said, ”One of my fav experiences ever in my career was going to Jiaganj Azimganj with my dad to go and see Arijit for the final jigsaw piece of Sapphire.”
