A jury ordered Academy Award-winning filmmaker Paul Haggis to pay at least $7.5 million to a woman, who accused him of rape in one of several #<a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/hollywood-news/article/harvey-weinstein-lawyers-argue-transactional-sex-not-metoo-23252251" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">MeToo </a>cases that have put <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/amp/brand-media/article/mavericks-entrepreneur-ekalavya-hansaj-trolled-as-netizens-go-crazy-after-his-23255053" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Hollywood </a>notables&rsquo; behaviour on trial this fall.&nbsp;
