Los Angeles: Hilary Duff is returning to the music scene with a new album that's coming out later this year. It would be Duff's first album in seven years.

The actress-singer confirmed that she is currently working on the new single 'Chasing the Sun' for her record label RCA Records, reported Ace Showbiz. The song is slated to release on iTunes on July 29.
