<p>The 46-year-old "The Wolverine" star took to Twitter and posted a video where he is seen sitting in a bathtub while wearing a white dress shirt and black bow-tie.</p>
<p>He exclaims "bring it on" before pouring a bucket of ice water over his head, reported Entertainment Weekly.</p>
<p>"I know I'm late but this is the 2015 ALS Ice Bucket Challenge #MND #AUS #IceBucketChallenge @mndaustralia," he wrote.</p>
<p>Kicking off in 2014, the Ice Bucket Challenge sought to raise awareness of ALS and collect donations to further ALS research and services.</p>
<p>Nominated participants had the option of donating to the ALS Association or douse themselves with buckets of ice water. They would then nominate three people to take up the cause.</p>
<p>Last year too, Jackman, accompanied by the cast and crew of "Pan" took up the cause and had posted a video showing them getting icy from the set.</p>
